Bradford Energy Network
1Energy has started building our first low-carbon heat network in Bradford, with key customers secured and the energy centre close to completion. When live in Summer 2027, the £70m project will generate heat using one of the largest air source heat pumps in the UK.

Exeter Energy Network
Having secured £42.5mn of Green Heat Network Funding, 1Energy is planning the development of a low-carbon heat network in Exeter city centre. Following a successful public consultation, we will be applying for planning permission for the energy centre later this year.

Milton Keynes Energy Network
With £17.6mn of Green Heat Network Funding secured, 1Energy has started planning the development of a new low-carbon heat network in Milton Keynes. When completed in late 2027, the network is set to cut the city’s carbon emissions by more than 15,000 tonnes a year.

Oxford Energy Network
1Energy is currently planning the development of a low-carbon heat network in Oxford city centre, backed by £21mn of Green Heat Network Funding secured by our team. When completed in Spring 2030, the £121mn first phase of the network is set to reduce Oxford’s reliance on fossil-fuel gas by 10 per cent and cut carbon emissions by 15,000 tonnes a year.

Derby Energy Network
A landmark project set to begin construction in 2026, 1Energy has committed over £100 million to develop a city-wide low-carbon heat network for Derby, backed by £23mn of Green Heat Network Funding.
